BicycleTutor.com Bicycle Repair Videos

If you can see Russia from your house (or State), you won’t be a foreign policy expert; but if you watch the BicycleTutor videos, you can become a bicycle repair expert.
I believe that all bicyclists (especially bicycle tourists) need to be able to perform some basic repairs. A little knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance can help you save money, save time or avoid a long walk home. The Bicycletutor.com website has excellent, free on-line videos on bicycle repair and maintenance.
The most common maintenance activities and repairs that a bicyclist should be able to do include cleaning and lubricating the chain, repairing flat tires, and adjusting rubbing or loose brakes. The site has videos on these topics as well as ones on more advanced repairs such a derailleur adjustment, truing wheels and overhauling major components (i.e. wheel bearings and headsets). The videos are very good. It is easier to learn this type of information by video rather than a written description in a book. I consider myself to be a good bike mechanic and I was able to learn some new techniques from the site.

I can see the moon, so I guess I can be an astronaut - LOL. The biketutor site is great, thanks for the recommendation.
