Cyclists On Twitter
By spokesman | April 7, 2009
Twitter has become extremely popular. For those not familiar with it; Twitter allows user to set up an account and then post short updates (limited to 140 characters). Anyone can follow the updates (or tweets as they are called by Twitter). You can think of it as a blog with very short posts. Many professional cyclists have begun to use twitter to provide updates on their races, training and random thoughts. I followed Lance Armstrong and Levi Leiphiemer during the Tour Of California. Lance tends to include regular updates on everything he does, and also links to some interesting photos. Pick a cyclist from the list below and check it out. Let me know what you think. The updates will probably be more interesting during the Giro D’Italia and Tour De France.
