Fall 2008 Century Rides in Maryland and Virginia

There are many century and multi-day rides in Maryland and Virginia in the fall. The following list provides information on 14 different rides.
- September 6 - Civil War Century
- Location: Thurmont, MD
- Sponsor: Baltimore Bicycle Club

- Location: Southern Maryland

- September 13 - Skipjack Bike Tour
- Location: Deal Island Harbor
- Description: Ride is presented by the Deal Island/Chance Volunteer Fire Co. Bike thru some of the most beautiful harbors/marshlands (with birds and wildlife) on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. $30 registration if postmarked by Aug. 31 ($40 on day of event.) T-Shirts for all riders, 3 rest stops, EMS available, SAG wagon.

- Sponsor: Richmond Area Bicycling Association, the Hanover Mental Health Association, and Hanover Habitat for Humanity
- Options: 25 Family Ride, 27, 40, 62, 72 or 100 miles
- Description: Ride along the paths of Patrick Henry, Robert E. Lee and Ulysses S. Grant. Enjoy Hanover County’s historic homes, rolling countryside and lush scenery.
