Lance Armstrong Pushes Syringe Man Into Snowbank

Photo Of Syringe-Man Landing In Snowbank

During the Tour Of California, a protester emerged from the crowd and tried to attack Lance by poking at him with a prop shaped like a gigantic syringe.  Lance quickly reacted by grabbing the man on the shoulder and pushing him away.  The idiot landing in a snowbank by the side of the road.  This move required an advanced sense of balance.  Most amateur cyclists would lose control or throw themselves to the ground if they to do this move.  However Lance was able to push the guy away, maintain his balance and not swerve into another cyclist in the pack.

Some of the maneuvers that the professionals do as part of their normal routine are really impressive.  If you want to develop better balance on your bike, I suggest that you train on rollers.  Rollers will also help you to develop a smoother and more efficient pedaling style.
